What the Bybit code actually gives you
Bybit's code carries a 10% fee discount. The smallest standing discount of any offshore venue on this site, and worth saying plainly rather than dressing up. If you are choosing between exchanges purely on what the code gives you, this is not the strongest offer here.
The case for using it is the platform rather than the discount. Bybit's futures taker rate is 0.055%, half a basis point below Bitget and KuCoin, so the underlying fee is competitive before the code touches it. Commission settles weekly rather than daily, which changes nothing for you and is noted only because most comparison pages get it wrong.

How to make sure the Bybit code applies

Verify the invite code on the signup form
Bybit shows the referral code in a field on the registration page. Confirm it is populated before submitting, if it is empty, paste the code in manually.
Complete identity verification
Bybit requires KYC for deposits, withdrawals and derivatives trading. A government photo ID and a liveness check are needed. Approval is usually quick.
Set up 2FA and a withdrawal address whitelist
Enable an authenticator app, then add your withdrawal addresses to the whitelist. Whitelisting means a compromised account cannot send funds to an address you have not pre-approved.
